Resumen: Desde una visión urbanística y arquitectónica, el paisaje coincide así, con esa permanente idea de movimiento y de proceso, y con el concepto más dinámico del proyecto y con el concepto más profundo de paisanaje, de lugar. El paisaje depende de los procesos directos o indirectos que caracterizan los ecosistemas culturales y naturales, sobre un espacio concreto, y de sus resultados formales. Pero el paisaje, es el resultado de su percepción por la sociedad, tanto de la misma que lo transforma, como de aquella que lo disfruta.

Abstract: Seville is part of that group of cities with history, thanks to an exceptional urban agglomerate in which certain episodes have left their mark: lake origin, mouth in the Atlantic with high environmental values, medieval Almohad emporium, emblem of Christianity in a stage prior to the formation of the Modern State, commerce of the Indies, prominence of the Church and the nobility in the formation of the city of the XVII and XVIII, presence of the festivals, Ibero-American and Universal Exhibitions of 1929 and 1992, and other references that They endow it with a complexity and richness that is difficult to apprehend.

Abstract: The objective of the research is to identify useful practices that can be replicated in other World Heritage sites to mitigate COMMON CHALLENGES (Governance: poor coordination and collaboration between stakeholders, need for collaboration between center and periphery, lack of a regulatory framework for redevelopment, lack of citizen participation; Population: declining number of residents, housing problems; Tourism: overtourism) identified in the Diagnostic Study on World Heritage Urban Sites in the Atlantic Area.
